~JIGSAW~

Like bits and pieces of a puzzle
this thing we call love

Love can be a beautiful wonderous feeling
like a majical trick without any gimmicks

Love can also be a very intense and painful emotion
like a part of your soul is being torn apart

Piece by piece this is how we put
our relationship together
You adding your pieces
and me adding mine

It's these bits and pieces that fit
together to create one
But before it's completion
sometimes the pieces just stop fitting

And so,
it's left there for another
to come along destroying
an unfinished product

Not really aware of all the effort it took us
The patience we had
The time we spent putting it all together

And so another puzzle is started
Not knowing which pieces go where this time
Or just how far you might get...
Is a real jigsaw
