Ty justkim for my Colorado postcard! she arrived just now with a lovely picture of roan cliffs. I was reading that people parachute of the cliffs?

We have a local place called Glassy Mtn and we have many times rode bikes/motorcycle/car down to watch the hand gliders take off and land.

There is so much to do this side of the Rockies... All of the postcards I sent out are within driving distance of where I live. Next week I will be heading up to Hanging Lake in Glenwood Springs canyon and taking pictures to make into post cards... I was going to go yesterday but got to spend time with my daughter and grand daughter... Priorities ya know...

i got two pieces of mail love today.

kim...beautimous shot from colorful colorado. thank you...it's been a while since i've been out that way. it's always nice to be reminded.

rivkeh...a lovely shot of coastal australia (you took this shot, right?) hope you're keeping warm...if not, let me know--i'll send you some of the 100+ we're having here.

i suspect i'm going to need to put together another batch to go out before my trip to NYC. once i get back, you can all expect some shots from the big apple.

I(and of course Cruel) received 2 postcards in today's mail.

Love the trucker one morningstar... Cruel said that was too cool!

Fancy sent the cling on postcard with a verse about a child next to a woman... you couldn't have picked a more specific verse for me. Ty!

I have cars ready to roll out in Monday's mail!!!!

Well, I have been on this site three times this weekend to give an update here and all three times got distracted with other things that tore me away. So tonight I am determined to post what I have been itching to say.

On Friday I received three wonderful postcards from JustKim, Fancy, and Rivkeh. Then on Saturday, I received yet another card from Chancie!

Kim, that lake is amazing with the reflections. Nature offers so many wonderful pictures. Of course, it helps that I am an outdoorsy kinda of person. Being raised in the woods has brought me a real love of what nature offers.

Fancy, I appreciated your very nice postcard. I was up in New England just the third week of last month. I had to travel up to school in Worcester, MA. The New England states are so beautiful. I definitely enjoyed the time that I spent up that way.

Rivkeh, as I told you earlier, I did look up the maze in which that picture was taken. I really liked your view that included the fleur-de-lis. I really like your eye for close-up detail. You have a knack for noticing things that so often times may go unnoticed. Too many times we look at the big picture or hone into what we want to focus on and miss the fine details.

Chancie, your card made me smile because it reminded me of me trying to plan for my trip to Worcester. I was trying to find somewhere close to that area to stay for the night before I needed to be there. That way I would do my travels the day before and would be relaxed and not rushed when I needed to arrive on campus. I would have liked to have done more sight-seeing, but I had not a clue where to go or what to see. Thanks so much for your card.

Thanks so much to all of you. I will buy the postcard backings because I also would like to send out pictures that I took here in our area. I have already found enough for four mailings. I am thinking that each time I will send all of you the same picture so that I do not get confused as to who got what. LOL! Sometimes I feel so old with my failing memory, but that will allow me to keep it straight in my mind. *Smile. So soon you all can begin to look for cards from me. I am so excited!!

Well, mine are filled out, addressed and waiting for postage. During her recent visit, Pixie bought postcards while waiting out her layover so y'all have her to thank for my latest mailings

I just got a batch of new cards, ready to be addressed & written & mailed. So, maybe in the next week or two, I will complete them

And, be forewarned, I am already planning to send holiday cards to my postcard peeps-assuming y'all are ok with that?

If we *do* holiday cards, I think I have a decent amount of them so if anyone wants/needs a box to help them out with cost, message me and I will get them to you in the next month or so. I am currently overloaded with cards as a result of my delusional need to stock up after Christmas-God knows I do not have the room to store everything-lol.

We got a postcard bonanza today in the mail...and Scoote is gloating because she got more than I did!

We got a peek of Washington coastline from Cara, a beautiful Colorado landscape from Justkim and I got the Golden Gate bridge from Nina...which came through the mail beautfiully by the way.

Thank you all so much...it's so fun to get cards in the mail!

I'll let Scoote come talk about her cards....
