Disregard this post, please. I just saw the thread entitled Avatars. Bad PrincessPrettyPants.

I must admit I've not read back pages so this issue may have already been addressed, but I was just wondering if we could be treated to a few more avi choices.

Also, question: if I am determined to use bold purple letters on all my posts (which I obviously am) is there a way to set that up so I don't have to do it manually every time I post?? That would be dreamy.

On the stats box on the front page, we have a line for the newest member.

Have we considered expanding this to maybe the new members of the day or the week?

Sometimes a newbies profile isnt even available yet and they are replaced by the next newbie.

I'm using Firefox and my reply to thread box changed to grey (the other day) when I changed the option from 'Standard editor - extra formatting controls' to 'Enhanced Interface - full WuSIWYG editing.

I changed it back again and all was well with my Planet again.

Yes, it is something I've checked into for new members of the day but it requires several modifications. I have it on the list...

I believe we are maxed out on how many avatars we have loaded. I'll have to check.

Also, we don't have a way to save font preferences. I have searched high and low for a modification but it seems that it would put a huge load on the server because it requires not only a script but multiple database queries.

I'll keep searching though! Or hopefully they'll figure out a way to do it so that it doesn't crash the system with the next vBulletin release!

Here's a work around. Create a text file and call it BFP. Set it up for your color and font.

For instance, mine would be <FONT=Georgia><SIZE=3><COLOR=Purple>xxxx</COLOR></SIZE></FONT> with all the < being changed to [ and all the > being changed to ].

Clunky, but you would have your presets in place.

I just noticed that when I go to rep someone, it comes up on a completely separate screen and then goes back once I click submit.

That's kinda neat, as sometimes the window would pop up and get all goobletygooked up with a large pic that had been posted or the avatar of the next poster and I would not be able to see what I was typing, so I know I sent out some heavily typoed reps when that happened.

this does not happen to me, or the large pic thing. Mine falls below the line at the bottom so I have to scroll up to type in the rep box then it goes back down.. probably a Mac or setting thing that I don't know how to fix.

Dee, mine does what yours does. Firefox on a PC here.

I'm trying to figure out why sometimes the "Who's Chatting" link under the Chat Room drop down menu works and sometimes it doesn't. I get the following message when the Who's Chatting link does not work:

Not Found

The requested URL /addonchat_who.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at www.butchfemmeplanet.com Port 80

And I am using Firefox 6.0 as the browser.

If you try it from the main page, it won't work. If you try it from within the forum areas, it should work.

Where are you trying it when it doesn't work?

This is a simple question that doesn't need an answer right away.
