Today I will remember that I am blessed with friends. I am blessed with animals. I am blessed with a roof over my head and food in my fridge. I will focus on staying positive. I will focus on cultivating only positive, light-bright people in my world. I will focus on decorating my hula hoop with Japanese paper lanterns so I can light my own way.

Knowing that 98% of our DNA is identical to a monkey, I realized I have taken things for granted . From this second on, I will do everything to protect and preserve that other 2%. Because frankly, I don't want to die just some old monkey

I will keep a list of my accomplishments, wins and successes. I will read this list out loud to remind myself that I am a brave, beautiful and intelligent woman, capable of facing whatever is ahead on this journey.

I will make a list today of the PRO's and CON's to allowing myself to embrace happiness. I will pin that list up where I can see it frequently during the day to remind myself that I always have a choice.

Today I have decided to take 2 days at a time. So when I get off work today it will be the weekend already! I don't know what took me so long to choose this option in life. All those people with enormous problems trying to remember to take 1 day at a time. No wonder their lives are riddled with despair. Next week I plan on taking 5 days at a time. That way Sunday evening will end and it will be Saturday again.
I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it people like me.
