Prairie skirts and dresses and peasant blouses Daisy stickers in neon colors to put on everything New Honeycombs license plates for my pink BMX bike every year Giant mirrored shades like on CHiPs & my crush on Erik Estrada Socks that were either below the ankle or to the knee, if you bothered with shoes Pet rocks KC and the Sunshine Band Guys with afros everywhere, black and white, and picks sticking out the back pocket of their tight jeans to fluff it at a moment's notice Girls with ironed hair to straighten it Muscle cars ... Novas, Camaros, Trans-Ams Cars that Dad had to buy seat belts and install them because they weren't standard "Woody" station wagons full of kids HR Puffenstuff The Great Space Coaster Lost In Space Land of the Lost Playing the snake eating the apple game on the WANG terminals in the university computer lab Electric typewriters Yeah, I was a little kid (born in 1970) but I have a pretty good memory.
