What do you feel "too old" for?

I'm only 38 and due to my arthritic knees that I acquired thanks to Uncle Sam, I defer on the stairs and look for elevators whenever I can, and I'm not ashamed of it. I'm past the steroid shots in my knees, now I get what's called coxcomb injections every six months, once a week for three weeks to both knees. It seems to help for about a month but now I can't take my anti-inflammatory medication for my knees because it has caused irritation in my esophagus and the VA wants to send a light down my throat to my gut! What joys you endure when you sign on the dotted line to serve your country. Would I do it again? HELL YEAH!
