URGENT!! NORTH TEXAS FOLKS

URGENT NEED for horse transport for evacuation in Bastrop County, TX. Barns that were used to house evacuees are now in the fire's path. Rt 304 still open both ways. Anyone in the area who can help, please call Beth at 512-467-4893 or Rachel at 512-581-2940. There at least 43 horses in immediate need at their rescue, surely there will be more.

Thanks for sharing this. I just sent it to my friends who have ranches that might have room for them. They also have large horse trailers.

Reposting! ATTENTION TEXAS AND SURROUNDING AREAS.. WE NEED FIREMEN!!!! Begging for retired and any fireman to call number to help. We were short 25 fireman last night. Cannot contain town of Bastrop, 35 miles away...fire is 16 miles long, 6 miles wide, jumped Colorado river, evacuated entire town and also neighborhood called Steiner ranch of 5500* PLEASE EVERYONE REPOST EVEN IF NOT IN TEXAS.. PLEASE SHARE: Anyone in Central Texas who needs a place to evacuate livestock can take their animals to the livestock arena located in Elgin. Please call Lorrie Phillips at 512-350-9566 anytime of the day or night. If owners don't have a trailer, she will send necessary number of trailers to get the animals out. Lorrie is taking donations of hay and grain for the people who have lost everything in the fires. Please also call Lorrie to donate hay or grain.

Reposting from a friend's page who was reposting for Tracy Ann Ross and her dad....If any horses in Bastrop need to be evacuated my dad's ranch is @ 2522 FM 2764 near Eagle Lake, 2 miles north of Hwy 90 @ the Chesterville sign. Big white 2story w American flag. Dad says BRING 'EM!
