I like you so much, Scoote, but I had to say, "Duh!" when you wrote this. It's another singing competition and two of the same judges from AI are on the panel. Of COURSE there are similarities.

However, there are fewer age limitations and the general feel of it is less cheesy (minus the parents that on my nerves) to me.

I do wonder what it is about constantly cutting away to the guy starting the track before they begin singing. Anyone have a clue what that's supposed to do for the show?
