Like:
chocolate mint (it grows in my garden)
lavender in any form.... flowers, bath bath, body lotion, candles...
tomato plant leaves
freshly cut pineapple
the garden after rain
just mown grass especially when the magnolia blossoms have fallen. I vacuum them up with the mower releasing their scent
light floral perfumes such as Flower by Kenzo and Sun, Moon and Stars
just baked cakes and cookies
vanilla ice cream
lemon
line dried linens and towels
baked apple
wood smoke
cola cubes

Don't like:
poop (Mother Nature couldn't come up with something better? )
strong musky scents, soaps
body odours. Yes I know they are normal and natural but that doesn't cut it with me!
cigarette smoke. Cigar smoke is ok, should have put that on the list above....
whiskey
wet dog
vinegar
mould
nail polish remover
burning rubber or plastic

There are many more I could add to either list, but those are the basics.

cigarette smoke.
On the train home this morning, I had to sit next to a 'professional' couple who stank badly of cigarette smoke and B.O. I had difficulty breathing it was that bad - once the train emptied and a seat was free I moved!

As soon as I got home I stripped off, put my clothes in the washer, with my clothes from the weekend, had a shower and washed my hair. I even put my fabric holdall in the washer and it wasn't near them.

I just hope my future wife (when I eventually meet her'hym) isn't a smoker!

I have a super sensitive nose so this is a great thread for me

Love:
*the smell of a rain storm on the horizon...especially since i live in the desert!
*creosote
*Ralph Lauren's "Black"
*My kiddos hair (love to bury my nose in it!)
*fresh herbs like oregano, thyme and rosemary that leave their scent on your finger tips
*mesquite wood burning in the fireplace
*morning dew
*bacon cooking on the stove
*fresh roasted coffee beans
*pumpkin spice lattes

Loathe:
*most perfume...especially walking through a department store with 5,000 of them
*cigarettes
*bad breath
*unclean people (not so much body odor, but that "weeks without a shower smell"...it mostly makes me feel sad for them)
*air fresheners (chemically scented ones)

I'm another one that can't handle patchouli...it smells oily and dirty to me, and gives me an instant headache.

I like clean, fresh scents...and not too much of any perfume or cologne. If it smells like you bathed in it, then it's headache-making for me.

Generally I prefer the smell of good ol' soap and shampoo.
