Getting done with testifying at court this morning..record time, 18 minutes! And having the rest of the day off!
Of course hearing his laugh...its so contagious! Mowing the yard and having time to think Taking Takota for his weight check...9 months 65 pounds on the nose! Vet says I'm looking at a hundred pouder when he gets done! Geesh! Sitting in the chair with 2 snoring furbabies, watching tv, with windows open, a nice fall vreeze blowing in

Getting a call from Bratboy's counselor @school (he just started an on-campus program yesterday - it was sending him off into adulthood and I was having SUCH Mommy issues!)...
She wanted to tell me that he had told her what an awesome mom he had and that Jess was an awesome stepmom too, but that he saw her more as a Dad... (LMAO!!) ... Wow... its really a neat thing to hear that he tells other people and recognizes our efforts, love and sacrifices... The second part of the smile was a subsequent email stating that they have him scheduled to return in January for the vocational program!! OMG! They have SUCH a waiting list and that he will finish one portion on 12/9 and start again on 1/2?!?!? The.best.fucking.news.ever. Just call me Happy Mom!! |
