I was pregnant with my 1st. son when this song came out.

I remember this as a young girl. My dad used to turn it up on the radio.

Henri Mancini wrote the musical score, Johnny Mercer wrote the lyrics, Audrey Hepburn sang it in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", as well as other artists of the sixties like Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, and others.

I often think of Moon River as an one hit wonder, because no other song seems to takes its place. Of course, Henri Mancini was no ordinary composer, either. I do love that song, though.
