I'm really not a "meetings" person, so WW online seemed a better fit for me. I weigh and measure myself at home. Like anything else the system is as effective as the energy and effort you put in to it. The first 2 months I was sooooooo diligent with tracking all of my food (every day) and my weight and my measurements (every week). And it was very effective -- using WW combined with increased exercise resulted in about 10lbs loss in the first 7weeks. I think the concept of WW is quite simple: When you hold yourself accountable for everything you eat/drink and the amount you eat/drink - you are likely to make better choices. By the third month I started slacking in terms of tracking, I'm still struggling to get myself back in the daily habit. I have no excuse for not doing it. I'm online for at least 4hours every week day. My weight loss has slowed - I have lost another 7lbs in the past 7weeks....but that is largely due to my significantly increased aerobic exercise. IF I could just get myself back in the habit of tracking on WW I think I'd be seeing more rapid weight loss. Concise version: I really like WW Online and I think it is very effective when I use it consistently.

Thank you for your input I appreciate it. I think that being consistent is the biggest and hardest thing to do. Especially me , I love to move my mouth... lol. I still have the book to help me with nutisystem, those tools are still useful to me. It's all about portion control , I'm gonna try still write everything down and be accountable ... I have plenty of food left for a month so it gives me time to see how I do before I venture out and waste more money. Ugh, this is truly a battle.

Hey Healthies,
I've been using a new rule with myself for the last few weeks that seems to be working well for me; if I want to add something to my day food-wise, I have to pay for it in advance, in calories that is. Since "I'll work it off tomorrow" never seems to quite work out, I work it off ahead of time and then go ahead and have it guilt free! Of course, what constitutes a treat now a days is more like walnuts in my salad as opposed to ice cream. ![]() So far, so good! ![]() |

![]() hi all, ♥ checking in once again! Still staying on track, and loving it ! Although i can't weigh in here in Oregon, i feel tremendous changes these days.. - the other day was the first day i could look in the mirror and actually like my body... normally i shy away from even looking at it, or hide.. - i wear clothes a lil more snug now, i don't hide my shape, that's new to me.. - i feel stronger in the sense of appetite, and am portionning so much better now. - Mtn here saying she has a really cute BUM!....back to cooking dinner... - (back to sylvie now, LOL) i have such a sense of knowledge with various ways of cooking and ways of cutting back calories now.. - temptations and foods that would normally be really difficult for me to pass on, aren't nearly as hard as they were...And the hard moments aren't lasting as long as they were.. - i bought a treadmill just before leaving for Oregon, so now have a treadmill and elliptical to work out on at home - all i need is weights and i'll be set.. am continuously happy for this weight loss the healthy way.. Last weigh in was 50 lbs lost, and it's been about 2 1/2 weeks since that weigh in.. i definitely know i've not gained, since my clothes are looser, yay... it's slow losing, but keeping it off and finding the journey gets easier as i go... keep focused & big hugs to all ♥

Hello everyone!!! Been a long time...
We did a little vacation in Vegas and since then I've been down with the flu and some other sort of virus/bug/grossness. ![]() I have definitely NOT been doing my cardio, but I know I will get back on that once I feel better. I have a great deal of congestion still and am now battling some sort of stomach thing that feels like a rock in my stomach. Excuse or not, I don't feel like jogging. I haven't made the greatest of food choices, but I also have not been overeating.......so the choices thing isn't bothering me a whole lot. I have not weighed. At most, I feel as if I may have put on two pounds. I don't feel any stress around it though; I know once I get back in action I'll get it off and then some. ![]() Just before the Vegas vacation, I did make a little move toward my goal weight. You may recall I was sitting in a mean plateau for about five or six weeks. Anyway... I did get that to budge, so I'm feeling motivated all over again. I love WW online. I like the tracking system and all of the resources available. The greatest lesson I have received from it is figuring out just how much I need to get through a day and what kinds of foods will get me there.
