I can't believe how many of them say they're the next American Idol and think they're the worlds best singers, and they get on the stage and sound like a cow in heat.

I'll never understand some contestants....

~screetching, yowling hideous song~

Simon " ok ok, that's enough... you suck"

Contestant " I was just warming up .. Can I try another Song?"

Randy/Simon/ Guest : "No thanks we've seen ---

~screetchy howl of a regurgitated Yawp attempt of a new song....~

Simon "ok, stop.. we said no.. keep walking..."

~ whimper, tears.... strikes a few more hellacious cords"

what... they think after the first lousy song, Calliope's gonna sprinkle faerie dust, make 'em flawless? and in the process garner sympathy votes?
it only smacks of desperate....and dubious self-respect....

I know! There is a direct correlation between their certainty that THEY ARE the next American Idol and how much they will suck. And, for god's sake, don't they have any real friends or family that love them enough to tell them to get another hobby??
