It IS sorta cool this morning. Nice though...beats that 80 before noon crap we deal with as well as humidity at 110.

It sure does beat the heck out of 110 weather with cicadas!

I love fall weather. I do need to get organized with fall clothes and jackets.

We were very lucky over here on this side of the state....no cicadas. But, man oh man they sucked over there. Them things had no manners and would just fly up your nose or any oriface they could fine

OMG those cicadas would dive bomb Me when I would turn the pressure washer on ! They would swarm around the car ! I was ok til one would land on My face , then it kinda freaked Me out ! lol

I know!!!! They have no manners!!!!! They did me that way too. And omg they had to be the ugliest things in the world on top of that.

I'm so glad they are gone...for now anyway.

When I lived in Jackson those cicadas lived all in the trees around my house. I don't recall getting dive bombed per se, but they were ugly.

Good morning from Knoxville everyone!

So I'm in the new house in Powell/Halls. I've found that if I leave about 5 minutes after 7 I miss all 4 school zones I have to drive thru as I move down Emory Rd. If I'm just 5 minutes late, it takes me an extra 15 minutes to get to work. I mapped out a faster way, but haven't explored it yet.

......on the Cicada subject ours are much larger than yours but yours make up for the size by being down right crazy and aggressive....I'll take big ol ugly staying where they belong to anything flying at me and getting in my hair....
