Um...not sure, haha. I think friends of mine from the old site were talking about it on Facebook? I created a log-in, introduced myself, and didn't come back for almost 2 years. My user name from the old site (Andrea) was already taken, so I just used my old livejournal user name instead.

Someone I dated earlier this year had mentioned being on the BF dating site...and after we stopped seeing one another, I found the dash site...and not long after..it "disappeared"..came back up, and disappeared again..so I googled butch femme..VOILA! I found the Planet..joined immediately..and have been a permanent resident of the Planet since early May 2011..and I never looked back..I am HOME here...it rocking fits me..well...and I LOVE it here...smiles...so I am planning to retire and live my golden years out here...going to have to be "evicted" to leave....smiles...

I simply Googled "butch-femme" and up it popped.

I had also noticed it on Wiki when I searched for butch-femme. It is on the list of external links.

I found BFP accidentally. I was a bit..(okay, a lot) bored and googling those silly quizzes you can take..I believe the one I was linked to was the left/right brain quiz.

I don't even remember my results for that one, lol.

I just wanted to play mahjonng connect. Never even posted on the other site, just played in the arcade. and then one day i was bored at my old job and it was gone. so i joined here and started playing solitaire instead.

and then some jerk from tulsa kept trying to beat my score. he ended up dragging me into all this forum mess. and i drug him into a few adventures in TRW. so now i have this big brother i never wanted who is a giant pain in the butt -- he unwittingly calls me old and fat, and he never listens to anything i say. (and his name rhymes with GAGG) LOL

I've been kinda surprised at myself getting into the forums here and the friendships that have developed through those. and the more-than-friendship that has been blossoming in the last couple months.

I've been wandering around, thinking something must have filled the void left over - the other place was so active at one time. Tonight, just trolling and googled "butch femme" and it came up. So many other dead places popped up it took a while, but when I started looking at names I realized this was it. Really enjoying the smack of familiarity, better design, and friendliness.
