I Really Like....

i really like going to the beach and having a good shelling day..especially when i find a ton(which is highly unusual) of my favorite orange shells.

i really like the feel of the wind coming off the ocean--the way it smells--how peaceful and calming it is.

i really like that my son is so laid back,and used to me that he tolerates my momentary loss of sanity moments!

I really like puttering at night in my new house, without having to worry that i will be in someones way, or be frustrated that I am doing that someone else should be doing but wont...

I really like knowing that there are not adults in my home who make a huge mess and don't clean up after themselves.

I really like being able to walk from the bathroom to the laundry room naked.

I really like that when I turn off my tv or my radio and go to bed, the house is silent.

I really like....

New England at this time of year...when the air is crisp...the leaves are changing....and extra blankets are needed at night....pumpkins and apples are ripe for the picking....and you just feel like you're living in a Robert Frost poem....the road calls to me now....my pilgrim soul begs to wander...a day trip to Vermont will be in order when Teddy is up for it.....fall is by far my favorite season...and of course it doesn't hurt that it heralds football season

I really, really like when my house is in order

Does a ton for my mood!

I really like dinner and board games with good friends.

I really like out-of-the-blue texts from people that are just checking up on me.

I really like hugs and kisses from the kiddo, and her thoughtful, handmade presents.

I really like burrowing my nose in my wife's neck when cuddled up in bed, and slipping into sleep softly breathing in her scent

I really like texts from my mom and dad just touching base and saying hi.
