I wanted to thank everyone who rep'd me and PM'd me about a student I wrote about several weeks ago who had suffered two concussions at two soccer games within a week of one another. Slowly but surely he has come back, and this makes me very happy and grateful to see. He's an amazing student and person, and I think the world is way better with him around and able to live out his dreams as he should. I am reading papers tonight and just came across his, which of course, blows me away as most of his writing does. I would have been sad to have missed the opportunity to have not had a paper that explored the genetic imperative and directive that affects human mating. ;-)
