A phone call with my Mom and know what she did, she did for me. She need not say the words. My love for her good not get any deeper. There are times I wish I had children of my own, so that I could treat them as my Mom does me. For now, random strangers and my nieces and nephews will have to do.

There's a metaphor in here somewhere........................ just let me ponder it a while and I'll get it right................................ You see, it's cold outside today, so I wore my nice coat....................... It's a kind of a pea-coat style with a feminine cut in a bold hunter green................ It makes my jade-green kitty-cat eyes just pop when I wear it..................... It's the right length, meaning it's not too long -- doesn't swallow my short, 5-foot-tall frame.........................................Best of all, it's warm...................... Not just 'breaks the wind until I can dash inside' warm... and not just 'cozy enough for Florida but hope the wind doesn't pick up today' warm...... Really warm. Like, 'wrap you up in comfort, no wet chill is disrupting my calm, ain't that moon beautiful tonight' warm ............. I'm 36 years old and I've never owned a coat this nice before................................. I had to buy it myself. No birthday or holiday gift, this winter wardrobe treasure.............. Nope. Mine all mine and on my dime............... But that's ok........... this fine green coat taught me a fine lesson............... one I don't think I'll forget anytime soon............. you see, the only person who's going to keep you warm when it's cold outside...................... is you..............

i had the strangest dream last night

one of those v for vendetta, guy Fawkes masks with giant sized craft googly eyes was staring at me from the darkness

i remember thinking this is tooooo bizarre and just staring back for the longest time

then i woke up

it's puzzled me all day

Last week, a guy moved into the cubie beside me. He is an irritating bastard. I have tried my very best to be cordial. The first day, I went over, introduced myself, told him if he needed directions to find something in the building, to let me know. This was a couple hours after I went over and told him he needed to clip his nails at home. Why do men do that at work? It is disgusting. I wanted to tell him to remove his shoes while he was at it, clip his toenails. And why not go ahead, lean over and fart a few times. I was livid. He has a thick ball point pen that is very loud when he clicks it in and out. He clicked for almost a solid hour last Thursday. If he is not clicking the pen, he likes to drum it on his desk. I will not bore you with a description of all his other noisy, irritating habits.

I am wondering if this prick is aerodynamic.

Will he fly or flip and burn when I throw him over about 5 rows of cubicles?

I am not liking having such harsh feelings towards another person. It puts me in a jam with me.
