1. I truly believe that my

smells like maple syrup (and some others have agreed. Of course, they may just be being nice since I point it out with such enthusiam..and they probably fear that if they said no I would make them smell my dog again.).

2. I was "taken" by someone for $500 that I met and "dated" online (whatever the hell that is), last year.

She SAYS she is still going to pay me, though...

3. I have the same microwave that I received as a gift from my grandmother when I graduated from grad school...in 1994! It works great!

4. I have never used my oven.

5. My father was scouted by the White Sox when he was in high school (he was a pitcher). He told them he was not interested because he wanted to marry my mother, have kids, and not be traveling all the time. I only found this out recently, and this was from a relative (not my father).
