I was the only girl amongst my other 3 siblings..and the oldest.
There are only 2 of my immediate family left living.

I have been in 3 very long term relationships, with the longest being 15 years.
I enjoy working puzzles in a Logic Puzzle book.
I enjoy eating cold chicken or pizza for breakfast sometimes.

1. I am unable to wear a watch on my wrist because I drain the battery within hours. I have tried putting a piece of tinfoil between the watch and my skin, but it still won't work!

2. I read for about an hour every night before shutting off the light to sleep. I also prefer books over all those electrical gadgets, like ipads and kindle's. Keep your kindle, give me books!

3. I do not own a cell phone, ipod, ipad, mp3 player or anything like that.

4. I read the sports pages, do the crossword and sudoku puzzles in the local paper everyday.

5. I don't like to microwave coffee to warm it back up. If it gets too cool to drink, I will just add ice to it and make it an iced coffee. Either very hot or very cold, I don't do medium!

1. I love shoes, I notice other peoples shoes. Friends know, without me asking, that I'll want to try their new shoes on and I have come home wearing them more than once BUT, I prefer to be barefoot whenever possible!

1. All the women in my family have a few artistic talents, I draw, sculpt, crochet, sew, bake and cook, photography. I also can arrange flowers, and have done so for many weddings.
2. Playing in mud makes me happy, (happy is the G rated choice word) usually on a quad taking jumps off hills and splashing in the who knows how deep it is mud puddle below.
3. I had a serious accident a few years ago on a quad, and they didnt think i was going to make it the night, severe internal bleeding, and road rash, apparently i had more living to do..
4. I had bowel cancer when I was 19, 20 years of remission this year
5. I love driving fast over hills to feel my stomach drop just like on a roller coaster.

I'm actually rather shy in person, bashful even and quick to blush. If I am really attracted to a woman, I will do one of two things: find it difficult to talk / go quiet (does not happen as often) OR ramble like hell-- "a mile a minute".

I like cars, especially the old muscle cars. But I am not comfortable driving because of my vision, and I'll go out of my way entirely to avoid driving at night.

I was brought up in the "Church of Christ" and questioned everything they told me. It used to irritate the hell out of the preacher. Later, I converted to Mormonism, was preparing for the priesthood and had a "crisis of conscious" because I am trans. Although the ward I was a member of didn't fully comprehend my situation, considered it a birth defect, and accepted me, I couldn't do it. I'm pretty much an Agnostic. I guess you could say I am still searching.

I was a nationally-ranked musician in high school. At one point, I even dreamed of performing in the North Carolina Symphony. I was offered scholarships that would have paid for everything but turned them down as I did not want to pursue a career in music. It's one of the decisions I sometimes regret in my past.

I never dated after I left home for college. I came out as a lesbian in college (had not accepted myself as a transman at this point), but I was too shy to date. Friends were so concerned that I wasn't even trying to date that they would try hooking me up on blind dates. The first time I even considered saying yes, the girl, Darcy, said I was too short: I am 5'5" and she was a few inches taller, like... 5'8" or something. Most of the women I have dated since that time, ironically, have been taller than me.
