Metropolis, I'm glad you're not going to pretend you made up the thread.

Five things:

1. For a Halloween party I attempted to be a 60s secret agent from TV but looked more like one of my mother's irritating friends from my childhood.

2. I'm editing a college science book (basic biology 101) and of course there's nothing about intersexed in this part about chromosomes.

3. I can't sleep anymore. I've tried valarian, melatonin, some botanical thing, booze, deep breathing...

4. My daughter (22) and son (19) are people I admire and respect and they're very good to their mother.

5. My nail polish is too dark.

1. I love my Mac and want another.

2. I've made it to level 80 on WoW with little help and even fewer cheats

3. I am ignoring my students right now in favour of yapping here.

4. I have one more year to go before the US kicks me out or I get a new visa or get a green card.

5. I will be moving to Los Angeles next year (be afraid! be very afraid!)

Family:
-I have a 15 year old daughter. She is my best friend.
-I was very shy when younger, now the opposite.
-I was raised by my mother and grandmother. My mother was an alcoholic and died young when she was 45. I know who my dad is, but never met him. I saw both my gram and mom die and got to tell both of them goodbye.
-I prefer dogs to cats as pets and only had cats when they were my partners.
-I have 2 brothers younger. the middle one died from seizures. we were not close.

1. I was raised military. It left me with a sense that nothing is perment.

2. I'm 43yrs old and I'm finaly growing into my skin.

3. The accomplishment that I am most proud of in my entire life is.... Raising a damn fine kid...

4. My friends, lovers, and ex's end up liking my kid more than they like me.. Grin... I don't mind at all..

5. I'm a skittish horse when it comes to commitment.. (I don't even like picking out the clothes that I'm going to wear the day before!) Yet, I've met someone who I'm not afraid to commit myself too.. I've tagged and bagged the perfect woman for me.. And I'm forcing her to marry me.. Even though we have had countless discussions about How we don't believe in marriage and contracts and how it has nothing to do with love or romance.

Hey I'm level 80 on WOW too, what server??? I haven't even attempted to do any of the new Cataclysm stuff, but I love the new Worgens!

things I had stopped doing over the past six months, I have begun doing again, like reading, writing stories, doing crafts. So I must be feeling much better.

I love frozen jelly beans, even better than ice cream and thats saying something!

the next dog I want is a teeny tiny jet black dog..like a pomeranian or chihuahua...never thought I would say this. But with my health, I cant do the big ones anymore. But no dog until my surgeries are over...

I am going to get my hair cut. Its past my shoulders now and I am getting it cut to right below my chin. It'll be easier to take care of in the hospital

I am making a set of six (3 of each) butch femme fairy christmas ornaments for the reunion raffle. Three dimensional, made of poly clay and hand fashioned, dressed in hand made garments and decorated in feathers, leathers, satin and silk and sequins, these sweeties will be lovely on your tree or set out on display...

1. I enjoy hugging,kissing and telling my granddaughter that Bela loves her with all her heart.. just to hear her ask me what does that mean and I explain that she has my heart all for her,and that means I love her this much___________I extend my arms far apart. She smiles. I love it.

2. I love telling my dog Hercules he is my Chocolate Hershey Candy Bar because he is chocolate brown color.

3. I call my sweet heart almost every morning to hear her voice and wish her a nice day.

4. I dislike my job but show up every time I am schedule to work.

*I dislike people more and more each day, and love my animals more and more each day.

*I wear cologne every day.

*I love to hold and rock babies, including furkids! In fact, I volunteered 1 day a week to go and rock cats at a local shelter. I had to stop because I wanted to bring them all home.

*I only wear short sleeved shirts. Once in a blue moon I will wear a long sleeved shirt when it is very cold outside.
