What is the exact step that you do? And do you get an error?

Hello geekfolk!

I'm having trouble putting images in my posts. I click the insert images thingy and copy and paste the URL but it shows up in posts as a little blue question mark box. What am I doing wrong?

because what you are posting is not a url for an image, it's the url a for google preview of an image.

get the actual url of the image and use that instead.

click at the side of the google page where it says 'see full size image'. that will take you to the actual image.

Right click the picture then select Copy Image Location (It will be something similar if you don't use Win7) Then select the image icon as you were doing, right click and Paste.
