SOOOoOOO its another Saturday night ........ now what

Went to auction looking for a dresser and to people watch.... it was a packed house! ...didn't get dresser, many of them went too high.....but got a nice, huge cedar chest for $20, a new Tupperware cupcake carrier, new glass baking dish with woven basket and hot/cold packs, and a sculpture of a puppy with long loopy ears that reminded me of a dearly departed old furbaby.... then I called Blade to bring the truck for the cedar chest. He kindly delivered it to my house ... then later I enjoyed getting back to working on a copper etching ....just listening to the rain now...

Today was busy and fun; museum, Balboa Park, bookstores, fresh baked sourdough baguette from our favorite bakery.

Just relaxing with a nice Pinot Noir now. Life is good.

After getting pissed at my washing machine and string of bad luck....I enjoyed a lovely evening with friends at a local coffee shop, enjoyed very much being treated to the best vanilla latte and hot apple cider, was so happy to see a certain friend (who's been ill) in such good spirits, relaxed from all my pent up stress, completely enjoyed company and conversation with a close friend, shared my new puppy and watched all their smiles...she lights up their faces, sat outside with the group till my feet froze.. but time with friends is good for the heart and a wonderful distraction ....

sooo im sitting around in my truck .. gonna head to bed soon .. 4 30am comes early , will be driving most the day making my way thru part of NY , and into Pa should land in Pitts burgers for monday morning.

I havent seen this thread in ages either!! lol... I am home alone and bored... I have eaten everything in sight... The dogs are all asleep and not helping me with my boredom at all!! lol..

I guess its because I have been sick for the past week and finally starting to feel a little better. Although I had to do a nebulizer treatment a while ago and it left me feeling all jittery.

I am ashamed to admit this, but I am currently watching the remake of the movie "Carrie" with my kid. It is a real piece of ummm..never mind. She MADE me watch it. Ack!! Also, made us a yummy pork loin for dinner that was absolutely delicious. Goooooo mom!!

i normally have pretty quiet weekends, but this is more quiet than usual. My car isn't working, and i am stranded (sort of) about an hour and a half from home (near where i work). i am in a motel. i am fine. Lying here watching Run Silent, Run Deep. i have an appt to get it fixed Monday. But i'd rather be home in my lovely house with my lovely cats. i also am missing an evening hanging out with a friend and a coffee conversation with a planet person (was looking forward to meeting her). Sigh.

Oh well. i will get a lot of work done.
