Ok, weird, because just the other night I was just about to go to sleep (but was awake) and heard the weirdest and loudest unexplainable noise i've ever heard. I couldn't even begin to describe it but the dogs and I all got up in response. I chalked it up to thunder, but it was weird and this is coming from someone who studies weird things (ghosts, paranormal, etc.).
