I know I am loved because I have friends who are with me through the darkness and the light, who allow me to process things, and know that I am there for them and that they can trust me when they need an ear or a shoulder.

Even when I bring an 8 week old puppy home... my best buddy and biggest love bug smooch pooch still loves me, doesn't get mad and curls up with me as if I'm the center of his world. No puppy will ever take his place or share the connection we do. He came into my life when I needed him most... and shows me every day that, no matter how often I mess up or if I'm a bad mommy short on patience, he loves me and is always here to listen and offer comfort.
