As I get older, I am more aware of how fortunate I am to have some of the basics I really did not think about. I can walk. I can think. I can hear. I can see. I can swallow. I can speak. I can still have and feel emotions. I can have conversations with people. I can still recognize the people in my life that I love, and mean so very much to me.
Thank you OP for this thread. Sometimes, I need to remember just how much I have to be grateful for.
