I fixed the toilet. That is right, I did it! I bought the part, and replaced it myself, thanks to the power of google! Now I have a fancy new toilet handle, and it works even better than it did the day we moved in.

What made me smile today? Seriously? Those kids at the adolescent homeless shelter made me smile today!! The trust is building... at their pace... and I am absolutely loving it. They greet me in the morning, ask my advice over some of the other staff now and wish me a good night when I leave. Yeh, those were some of the best smiles today!!

It rained Saturday and Sunday but today was beautiful for Presidents Day holiday. I do not mind returning to work in the morning after a 3 day weekend but today sure spoiled me.
