Listening to how a friend reconnected to family members that they had missed very much. Seeing the light return to their eyes and hear the affection as they described events.
A wonderful day at work, the 'deer in the headlights look' from my Supervisor when I told her (2 seconds before our monthly meeting) about my job offer and how I will be her Authority Figure very soon and that my new boss plans on "shaking things up quite a bit"!!.... very uplifting and supportive responses from my favorite co-workers... an email from my new boss... a wonderfully yummy dinner of my favorite specialty pizza....then going by auction to get an air conditioner but scoring a NICE tool bag filled to the brim with all kinds of adjustable wrenches, several sizes of pliers and wire snips, brand new level, heavy duty hammer, about 15 different screwdrivers, a set of locking pliers, wire brushes, a voltage tester, and channel locks...all for $30!!!  Momma has tools!! I love refilling my tool kit!! You never know when you might need locking pliers and a voltage tester!!! .... now if I could just replace my door locks after ALMOST losing my key tonight when my key chain broke in a dark driveway. And getting my release forms sent off... final offer is just around the corner! Thinking about plans to take Blade's parents to dinner Saturday ... her response to the place I picked was " that sure isn't diet food, but lordly it is good!!"... I adore his parents! Damn good people! ! Thinking about plans to completely pay off my college loans and save up a bit to go visit my nieces ...maybe for next Christmas! !... Today was awesome! ! Momma's gonna go play with her new tool kit now anyone need their voltage tested !

- Daddy treating me to my first pedicure ever in town today, and loving my cute red toesies *wiggles em* He picked the color even! - the small things, living each day together, chores, errands - appreciating every moment we can. - day of movies in bed with bed picnics yesterday, snuggling, & smiles.. - a lavendar bubble bath tonight with candles & Daddy washing my back.. - a lovely scented sugar & ginger exfoliating cream that feels so amazing on my skin.. - getting His laundry all caught up for Him today - i so love taking care of Him in the ways i can, and his appreciation and love make it all worthwhile.
