Good shoes / Bad shoes

The style of shoes that I like to wear:

A type of footwear that I would hate to wear and, to need to do so would turn my stomach:

I'd be in heaven if a partner wore this style of footwear:

However, I'd be much less enthusiastic if a partner wore this style of shoe:

Not sure why but I do not like footwear with open toes. I believe fully covered feet are much more mysterious - in particular, I love well defined boots.

Martina, I saw one of those bathroom ads at a pub recently for Vibrams... it has a list of all the benefits, then penned in at the bottom someone had written:

- Bloody Ugly!!!

I thought it was great.
