It seems like most of the people I'm hearing back from say the 1st weekend in June works for them. What day? Would Sunday work for people, or is Saturday better?

Fridays and Sundays are my days off, so either of those days work for me.

Afternoon would be better for me, since I would be driving out from central AR.

First Sunday in June would be good for me too.

Does anyone have any issues with meeting outdoors and doing a potluck?

JAGG, will you ask softheart if this would be OK? Looks like there may be enough girls here to do our own thing if y'all go fishing.

Potlucks are always good, as long as I can bring something that won't spoil on the drive over.

And do I really have to choose between fishing and not-fishing? What if I want to do both? (of course, I would need to impose on someone there to lend me a rod and reel for my fishing, as all of mine are still down in FL)

As long as you'll use a closed face reel, I'll bring everything you need to fish.
I'm not sure what a fishing license costs, I don't even have mine yet, but will before I go fishing.
Although, if in the afternoon, not sure fishing will be great, but I'm good with just hanging out, too.

Let me know if you want to come out the night before.
