IATF: Sugar came home from the hospital today and prospects are very good on her recovery!
The love of my family and friends. An excellent veterinarian. The love of all 6 dogs, and I must name them or I would be remiss: Birdy, BoyBoy, Scrappy, Hermes, Sugar and Mr. Chimmers. A good car. A roof over my head and warm bed to sleep in. Fire Insurance and lastly I am thankful that My Life was spared... |

I am thankful for the peace and stress free, quiet life I live...

...the fact that despite this geographical area being exclusive and not liking outsiders, I have met some wonderful people at work who have welcomed me, supported me and make me feel like I am not alone.
...that I broke the rule I made before moving here that I would not date anyone local (for many reasons). If I would have stuck to it I would have missed out on someone extraordinary. ...my job, my financial situation and my perseverance. ...the support I get from this community here on BFP. I can leave for a while because of work and being on-call and all the associated craziness and come back and know that the support is still there. I live a pretty isolated life here and to know that this community is here when I need it makes it a little easier here in the country where I have to drive two states away to get to the closest civilization.
