I'm too old to refuse to eat dessert first...

I'm too old to wear spandex (it's a priveledge, not a right)...

I'm too old to refuse seconds at dinner (after I've eaten dessert first)...

I'm too old to care whether anyone is watching when I dance like an idiot...

But...

I'm too young to stop playing my music so loud...

I'm too young to put away my stilettos...

I'm too young not to skateboard with my son when he asks me to...

I'm too young to deny myself the opportunity to ride tricycles down the aisle at Toys R' Us, or maybe one of those bouncy balls with the handle on top...

I am too old to live my life by anyone elses rules not my own.

I am too old to NOT march to the beat of my own drum. So if I want to wear my Betty Boop sleep pants, Uggs and a T-shirt to Starbucks, that's my business, not anyone elses LOL.

I am too old to be involved with anything I do not believe in.

I used to go out,,one bar from 7-10,,the other 10-3 and then an after hours bar and then to Waffle House till 7am,,I was in my late 30's and early 40's and loved to dance..if I dance now I might pop something outta joint ! Ouch !
