A nearly perfect Carolina country morning...listening to the corn field behind my home rustle in the breeze, the Cicadas giving today's weather report, Crows sharing the latest gossip, geese in the pond having a discussion, the Cardinals chirping their morning greetings, a train off in the distance, my cat loudly delivering her favorite fur mouse and asking for some treats, the scents of sage and incense from this morning's prayers hanging in the air, the song of coffee perking in the kitchen and the slightest hint of its aroma starting to float in...so peaceful, so wonderful....

Nearly perfect...if my Beloved were here it would be perfect, complete...heavenly...

Laying in bed, lazy morning, listening to the birds. It's going to be a scorcher today, it's already 82 degrees out and it's only 9 am here. They are forecasting 100 tomorrow... We will be in the pool later!

I have a CSA share and I pick up my share at the Farmer's Market. When Ryan (my farmer) saw me he said, "You look so beautiful!" It was really sweet.

Spending the day at the Buffalo Zoo!! Such great weather and just being together outside. Got some great pics too. Tomorrow we are hitting the "beach" as they call it here. Can't wait to just be outside and soak up some sun.
