 I am always lighting candles and saying prayers for people who need it most. Sadly, on this day, I am lighting them for myself. I am ashamed to do this, but I need it. I'm feeling so overwhelmed lately. Between major health issues and having to move, it's too much. I'm usually so tough, but it feels like my fight has taken leave of me for a while.  Today I am focusing my energy on diabetes and all the people surrounding it. I am sending out my energy, prayers, and positive thoughts to all researchers; may they finally find a cure or at least a better treatment. To all doctors may you have the knowledge and compassion to hear when you patients tell you that the treatment is worse then the illness. To all members of society may you realize that while it is not cancer it is just as important to have knowledge of and support for those suffering from it. To all that suffer from it whether Type 1 or Type 2 I send you healing energy so that you may endure the side affects of the pills, the pain of the needles, and the constant desire for a cure. To all that see this I ask that you join your energy in whatever way you believe with mine and countless others to find a cure.
