That the songs I post are usually more about the lyrics or the sentiment (for me) behind the songs than the songs appeal themselves...but I do love music all types of music really, so I take it for what it's worth--to me.

Like anything else in life, I live on my own terms, taking what I need and leaving what I don't. My choice. It's what helps me not get involved in drama or ridiculousness that isn't mine to adopt. Why would I do that? I have enough of my own.

That said, I love music and lyrics and the creativity and artfulness of each one and where it takes me (headspace) when I listen to it...

(gets off my soap box)

YSK it rained all day and yet people ventured out and bought my art.

YSAK I had a ridiculously stupid morning where I was truly surprised I lived through it.

YSAK I have amazing friends and I got great messages of encouragement that got me through said morning and the day got so much better.

YSAK that I am tired and as great as the Art Walk was this weekend I am very grateful it is over.
