Right here now. Feeling a warm, gentle, breeze off the beach, seeing my animal family and bird friends.. listening to the music in the trees.. so beautiful and peaceful.

A llitte place all tucked away in the woods where I can paint and sculpt to the music of the bubbling stream, the Stellar jays and squirrels chattering.

not interrupted by anything, cept makin love in front of crackling fireplace and sex on the deck, at the lake and in the snow. .

Oh, yeah..My little slice of heaven is in Pine Cove, Calif., Local Mountains..a perfect spot for Bed and Breakfast for Artists ...when I win that lottery.

North Carolina has always been my lil slice of Heaven. Back before I moved anywhere or saw anything, my bliss was found on a four wheeler, cruising through the countryside, wind against my face, the cold on my knuckles, hitting every mud puddle I could find. (My first time started on that four wheeler!)

If I was angry, I lost most of my tension there. If I was sad, I found my peace. If I was happy, all the sensations were a celebration of life.

After I moved, I explored a few places: Texas, Massachusetts, Utah (don't even get me started on this hell hole of a state), but when the wind changes again, and I hope it will all resolve itself soon so I can, I plan to head East again-- East is home to me.

The Northeastern portion of the USA is where I plan to settle down. Of all the places I've seen: the people; the climate; even the architecture; the sights, sounds, and tastes;.... it feels like it could one day be home. And a quick drive down I-95 will bring me back to North Carolina to my family if they need me.

My time in South Lake Tahoe was at times the loneliest I've known. During that time, I really learned to just be with myself for the first time in a long time. At the same time, I began regular meditation practice during this time. I often would go to sit alone at the lake and meditate in the evenings after dark while the water lapped the rocky shore. I was so relieved to get back to Texas, but I left a part of me there. I miss that cold lake, the mountains and the pines.

One of them is the Morro Bay / Los Osos area -- with trips into San Luis Obispo for good beer, food and shopping. I love that area.

Another is Sonoma County.
