My phone sounds like a laser gun shooting when I get a message or text. As I was leaving work today I turned on my phone and it sounded like someone was shooting at me all the way to the parking lot. I thought good grief what on earth is so important. I read my texts and listened to my voice mails. I stayed in the parking lot for an hour reading and returning texts. Mostly happy birthday wishes from family and friends.
But I have to tell you the one that made me smile the biggest was a video happy birthday wish from "Lil Spirit".....yeah she has my heart, and can make fast mush of this ole man.

I actually gave up on the possibility of a smile today then I was surprised and caught completely off guard by a friend on My FB when she made Me smile.

The confidence I gained from driving today. Yea it wasn't perfect but for the first time I've got folks letting me know that's okay. I'm new so of course I'm not gonna be perfect. Damn it's a good feeling to finally have realistic expectations to strive for instead of unrealistic ones.
