That 70s Thread

"I have a pic somewhere from about 25 years ago wearing white shorts, one of those shirts with the alligator insignia wearing the starched shirt collar up, sunglasses and riding the float from the LGBT Center in Los Angeles. Hmm, maybe this should be in an 80s thread?"

This is a piece of a post I did in another thread. One day later I finally remember the designer, brand name of those very popular shirts with the alligator, IZOD. Those IZOD shirts were all over in the 70s and early 80s.

Fair enough. I had a few different dress styles. Butch in Urban Land. But I will admit I don't know much about the cowboy look. That was another 70s phenomena, the movie "Urban Cowboy" came out and all of a sudden there were gay cowboy clubs all over Southern California. I feel pretty sure most of the urban cowboys would not know the back end of a horse if it were staring them in the face.

It was always about themes and theme dressing in the clubs....remember village people?

Okay, I will admit more times then not I found myself doing the infamous "YMCA" thing with the arms when the song played, and played and played.
