I've read this in a few different places plus heard it on the radio and TV news. I think the piece that's missing for me is the "why" part of the police going to the Air Force.

Therefore, I'm very much in "how dare they" mode!

However, I reserve the right to change that based on the additional information I'm sure will come out over the next few days.

There are actually a lot of people (about 40) that I personally know that tried to use don't ask don't tell to get out of basic training. It worked for none of them. Get rid of the damn rule! It's stupid and really there is no way to enforce it.
