Since thanksgiving is about a month away I have been thinking of what I'm really thankful for. This year I think I'm more thankful then I have ever been.
Here is a short list of what I have come up with: 1. A loving partner who accepts me and my many faults 2. To be healing after a 2 week stay in the hospital and finding out just how close I was to NOT being here 3. Having a job. Well not just a job but one that once was told I was in the hospital put me on leave and was willing to have me do lite duty till able to do my job again 4. After 7+ years talking to my mother again and telling her that I only wanted her to see me as her child and to please stop calling me by my old name. She has done it since 5. Finding out just how many friends I have and whom I cherish |

... every experience I have had in life. Good, bad, short, long ... They are all part of what makes me. ... those little moments in life where you get to really look around you and see all that you have and have to  . ... all the people that I have crossed paths with in life and got to add to my life experiences. ... those moments where I just let myself enjoy and feel good.

I am thankful to have made it half way home.
I am thankful the rest of the way should be clear sailing. I am thankful I had enough money in my account to pay for the new tire. I am thankful that I wasn't one of the over 50 vehicles I saw in the ditch. I am thankful to have so many great friends checking up on me. I am thankful to be sitting in Starbucks for a much needed stress break. I am thankful that the worst of the day is over.
