Gratitude

Today my gratitude lies in the sunshine...lord it feels so good to feel spring coming on. It heats my bones up and clears my head and brightens my spirits. Today is a wonderful day for movement. Even if it hurts!

Although there are some severe and perhaps long-term side effects, I am grateful that there exists medications that help me continue to work, play and simply live! i am also grateful that I am not the kind of person that believes every single prescription drug is bad- of course, this thinking usually comes from someone that has no illnesses or disabilities to deal with... Guess I am grateful for recognizing that it isn't easy to have to make these decisions and weigh the good against the bad.

Today I am really grateful for the acknowledgment and praise that those above me have been giving me at work. It is so good to know that something I enjoy so much is noticed and appreciated, and that I am indeed making a difference.
