The Saints seem to be going backwards this season, especially on the defense. At least Brees kept his consecutive games with a TD pass going and not much else to speak of.

Tonight, taking the Amtrak south along the Pacific Ocean, about an hour ride, to San Diego. Hope Rivers can come out of his coma and win against the Chiefs. (Train ride saves 3 hours in traffic, and many of the crazy fans are on board with you, versus on the freeway crashing into ya) . Still a diehard Steelers fan, but , dammit Pittsburgh's so far away.

Best game of the weekend--- Giants vs. Steelers.

Mixed emotions about them still playing the game in the Meadowlands (I refuse to call it MetLife Stadium). I did read that the NFL allowed the Steelers to delay their arrival until Sunday morning, and the hotel they would have stayed in doesn't have power yet. Part of me feels like they should have moved the game to Pittsburgh if it were possible. Many of the fans won't make it to the game anyway because the mass transit lines are still down. And many won't see the game since they don't have power yet. Hopefully for those that can enjoy it, a nice Giants victory will raise their spirits and provide a distraction for a while.

(That and a certain lady will lose a bet to me.)
