I will be at work tonight I remember last when POTUS was first elected there was there was a huge crowd of students on the quad we had to go out for crowd control cause they were rowdy but ya know what I sure hope it happens just like that again

Today ~ ...was the Mrs Daywalkers' first time Voting. She was adorable with anxiety, we walked down 2 blocks to vote (I dropped mah envelope in the lil pink cooler looking drop box), the whole process including the walk was like 40 minutes. I voted in mah Voting shirt that I've had for like 20 years, it has a biggo American Flag on the back and one on the pocket in the front and it will go back in the closet until the 2016 Presidential Elections.  Only in America will you find Rosanne Barr above Obama's name on the ballots.

I can't wait for results to start coming in! It seems like there is big turnout for both sides in many states.
Big gender gap in Virginia- women could make the difference for Obama where the conservative Republicans are eliminating abortion clinics there. African Americans and Latinos seem quite fired up in Florida over the voter suppression. Labor organizations are out in vans picking up people to vote in Ohio. People power!

Tonight, I will be returning to work after the polls close - to help count the votes - I'm praying for a miracle in the State of Alabama.
What is really scary is back in Nov. 2003 the Alabama's judicial ethics panel removed (at that time) Chief Justice Roy Moore from office for defying a federal judge's order to move a Ten Commandments monument from the State Supreme Court building. This was a 5,800 pound Stone monument. His belief is that gays should never be able to adopt children or have children. ON the other hand we have my boss, Democrat, who has been Judge over our county for 36 years - and in the entire time he has been in office, he has been without a doubt one of the most fiscally responsible leaders in the United States - we have always been in the black and have a large surplus savings. His opponent was our Sherriff who until last year was a Democrat and decided to jump the fence so he could run against our Judge - His family has more money that fort knox and he had limos picking up people and taking them to the polls to vote - This man was recently audited and was found to have spent $24,000.00 in renting a jet to be taken and picked up from a football game. How long will it be before our county has to file bankruptcy if this man gets into office. I'm really a nervous wreck for so many different reasons on so many different levels - I'll be leaving in a little while, summoned to my post - I send positive light and energy - please join me in forming a composite of like energery for the People's leaders to come forward in a winning light. Gosh I'm Canadian and am afraid to go to bed.....I so hope that people get out and vote and do the right thing. A funny thing if Obama was running in Canada he would win by a landslide, we are more involved in American politics than our own. The ramifications of Romney will affect us too. Let's hope that freedom prevails.
