Camping anyone?

I LOVE Swiftwaters. I went moons ago, (1986) BEFORE the newer facilties were added. I am talking only two wooden "outhouses" and bathing in the swift waters. This was when it was also "clothing optional".
I really enjoyed it very much. We each had our own little camping "wagon" set up with a built in sink, utensil rack, cooking gear, etc. Just open the doors up, spread them out..voila...everyhting one needed to cook, clean, etc.
I pitched a two room tent, made a campfire, and hung my coffeepot over the fire for REAL coffee brewed in the wilds. Gawd at the fun I had there. There was another nudist campground in the sticks of Dewy Rose......familiar with?

Went to Swiftwaters in 1999. The ladies had tent camping, 3 season cabins, and the room attached to their home with the jacuzzi.

My chihuahua went with me one time, I was throwing horseshoes and guess what? I threw the shoe and the chihuahua ended up on the hard end of the shoe. Totally freaked! Pooch was in shock, took her to the local vet. She was checked out and released with only a cut. Poor little doggie.

Aww poor doggy! I was there right after it had just opened up...the original couple were owners. Later, one passed away.
The remaining owner and her new partner, I believe, did the upgrades. I heard it is much better now
That area is just beautiful, rich with gem mines, gold mining, and the like. Swiss Alpine Helen, Ga. is also close to that area as well.....
I remember having the honor of doing "tick searches/removals" on the ladies who were camping with us that weekend.
I, for sure, wouldn't
be in the market for camping there now. No more ground sleeping for me..lol
