 A lovely day here in the Carolina's... supposed to be 73 again today! Gonna piddle around in the yard today, maybe plant a few Hosta's and Colea's around the house- I love this time of the year!  Hope y'all have a lovely day!

wow its late........... slipping in here real quick like......
just got home from a benefit....... for the girl whom was a victim of a hate crime around christmas here in buffalo...... it was a awsome night , had a great time watching the drag show and seeing old friends...... and i m pooped........ time to head for the bed. nites

It was a beautiful day in NE Ohio..spent as much of it outside as I could. I hope tomorrow is as good of a day as I plan on painting my garden fixtures, and the parking cement slabs. And planting some peas...

"wakey wakey or I will spankey spankey!" thats something I would say to the girl child to get her up from bed. She was a joy to raise in general but never to raise her from her bed...lol... (I wasnt a spanker..just fyi..it was just a sing song for her to motivate her out of bed)
It IS a glorious day out there already and I have painted my parking barriers and cleaned up my house and soon I start some meds for a medical test I am getting done tomorrow. MMM...sounds like fun to me! Sachita got me started thinking of how I could garden while waiting for the place to sell...well. I got a pack of peas and am going to put them in my round tin tub and add a fan trellis to it. I can just take it with me when I move! Small start but its better than nothing! Can someone tell me how to get paint off my hands without mineral oil...I dont have anything and soap and water isnt doing it. My local butch buddy brought me over a paint brush last night. I had bought a smaller one but lost it. (I think it never made it from the counter to the bag to take home). Well, its twice as wide as the paint can was..lol. She said I needed a wider brush to cover more ground. I said I didnt need a wider brush cuz I was just painting the cement parking beams..not a house. Good Lord, talk about overkill! Well, she was nice enough to loan me the brush so I took it but it made a mess out of me. I was wanting to dip the paint into the can...instead I dipped and fumbled. LOL...its done now and I am just as glad she wont see how I look and will only see the paint job I did which was pretty good. Now if i can just get the paint off me!

I cant find my garden gloves so I tilled some pots and worked the side garden with my bare hands and a trowel...dang if I didnt mess my nails all up. Thankfully they grow so fast. I will just cut them back until I can find or buy some new gloves.

Softness..nail polish remover will take paint off your hands,just use lots of lotion when u r done.
Morning lofters.. So far since ive been up(8am) its snowed like mad but not sticking cause its 37 and not cold enough to.I fixed home made bisquits and jelly with breakfast this morning,with some left to have with gumbo tonight.My fur kids have run in and out fast cause southern pups are like that in the cold. I didnt go to the fenceing class thursday cause the peeps I was going with had to cansel...next week we will give it a go. Sooo what am I gonna do with the rest of the day???Hummmm lets see....laundry,give the fur kids a bath,read the sunday paper.Nada is much on tv cause since basket ball has taken over u cant get much else on anywhere...and whats on sucks. |

Hey everyone, just found this thread. I'm just turned 49. Feels pretty good, old injuries are talking to me a little more. I've been an little more on top of my food intake and watching more of what I eat. Doing more excercise other that surfing, mountain biking and jogging with the puppies.
I love my age, the way I see the world, the experieces I've had and the people I've met.
