Henri Mancini wrote the musical score, Johnny Mercer wrote the lyrics, Audrey Hepburn sang it in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", as well as other artists of the sixties like Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, and others.
Moon River Moon river, wider than mile, I'm crossing you one day, in style. Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker, Where ever you're going, I'm going your way ..... I often think of Moon River as an one hit wonder, because no other song seems to takes its place. Of course, Henri Mancini was no ordinary composer, either. I do love that song, though. ![]() |
