Why, I think I disagree with your friend! My thought --> We are femmes regardless of our geographical location. (hurray! I don't want to suddenly turn into a not-femme if I go to North Dakota or something)

Being a transplanted You-Ess-of-Ay person in an African village would be quite a challenge yes! I don't believe we are generally inventive and determined enough!
