Frankly, it makes total sense to me to reorganize student loan programs this way. After the bank bail-outs, I want them cut-out of making $ on student loans! Interest should directly go back to the government to support social programs! And the idea of students being able to re-pay loans via public service thrills me. We all need to give some time back to our communities. Many more students will be able to secure higher education via this legislation!
