I want to be out dancing or sitting with some friends enjoying snacks and maybe a drink BUT instead I am in pajamas and wishing the annoying little hum behind me would stop for awhile.
I enjoy my own company but not always when I am craving socialization. I guess I will have to make my own fun tonight. Maybe I'll get distracted in some of my ongoing projects. |

I drank a lot of red wine (Gabbiano Chianti Classico, yum)
I did partial water changes on 3 of my fish tanks plus I did water tests that make me feel like a mad scientist I ate tortillas with avocado and hot sauce with sharp cheddar I watched Monsters, Inc wheeeeeeeee

I cleaned my house, cleaned my ferret's room (which is a CHORE), took care of my dogs and have been watching a Queer as Folk marathon. Now, laying on the couch and waiting for Justin to get home from an out of town work trip.

I went to the rock store today and I got a bunch of cool gravel and rocks for a couple of my fish tanks (the Dempsey tank and the planted angel hex tank). I am going to take out the old rock and part of the gravel then put the new stuff in. I love building caves for them and thinking about all the fry they will raise in there while living out their little fishy lives.
I am roasting a turkey today. When it is done I will transform the carcass into lunch meat and turkey curry salad with cashews and of course stock. I was gonna try hanging the rug in my room outside and beating the crap out of it with a bat but I think that bit of letting off steam will need to wait for another day. There really needs to be a nap in a sun beam in here somewhere

Went to bingo, had an evening cookout with the folks, did some work for mom, now finally gonna relax and put some new music on my iPod touch that I thought had been lost for a year or so lol

The last time I went out, really out, before tonight was NYE. I just got back from a night of live jazz music, wine, wonderful food and dancing!
I am swooning over it all! I am going to get changed into my pajamas after being in a dress and heels all night (that felt SO good!) and I am going to relax with more wine (or tea) and a movie until I get to talk to my friends about it all. |
