Tabs is having a good, fun day with her mother today. Her mother has been sick for a number of years and their relationship has been "tenuous" (at best), over the years. They've moved so far, together, making their peace, and they are finally best friends.

Being told by two people today "you always smell good"
An in-depth conversation with a 6 year-old about how the spots on dinosaurs and "all those weird freckles" I have are part of what makes everyone unique and special and that being different is not a bad thing. A picture the same 6 year-old drew of me as a freckled dinosaur. I guess that it is safe to say that all the kids I saw today made me smile. They always do.
